Soy Tempeh What's The Deal With Soy Being Bad For You?

What's the deal with soy being bad for you? - soy tempeh

I have not had the opportunity to read something new about soy is not bad for you. (As a vegetarian and some vegan), such as soybeans. Not too extreme, but usually one or two glasses of soy milk per day, and tofu / tempeh / etc a few times a week. Can anyone me some background information on this statement? Thank you!

According to the Food and Drug Administration, it is unclear whether the soy isoflavones, which are in the form of pills and powders are used in good health. However, the FDA, that soy protein in the form of food is healthy and can reduce the risk of heart disease.

"The test of a period of one year of the available studies in humans in 1999, the FDA health claim on the label given to allow food to the daily diet of 25 grams of soy protein, also low in saturated fat and cholesterol may be at risk reduce heart disease. "

"The FDA determined that diets with four servings of soy per day, the rate of low-density lipoprotein (LDL), the so-called" bad cholesterol "that accumulates in the blood vessels can reduce, by as much as 10 per cent."

Information on soy-breaker:

Still further on some names in a little ditch in the campaign against soy, particularly Mercola and Fallon.

Joseph Mercola is a member of the Advisory Board, Foundation A. Weston. To give an idea of where it comes Mercola issays it's a myth that a vegetarian diet is good for you.

Sally Fallon is the founder of the Weston Price Foundation. This organization is a warning against attacking the consumption of soy products and low-fat diet, largely devoted to vegetarian and vegan lifestyle, while heavy consumption of meat and dairy products encouraging.

If you look at the article by Fallon View cited in his writings, you will be subject to some interesting trends. (1) Unlike the books by renowned doctors and scientists, most of the events referred to Mr Fallon is not well established magazines like The New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, and the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. Instead, they refer to very old discredited studies or in the "House" published journals Pottenger Price Foundation - a foundation dedicated to the promotion of meat and saturated fat. The papers are not reviewed by experts, not to libraries at the university or medical school, and not as reliable reputation scientISTS. Published (2) the few studies in reputable journals, the articles or not support the claims of the Fallon (ie denatured), or the results are not reproducible by other researchers.

Soy contains relatively high amounts of phytoestrogens - plant hormones, the hormones in the body where it can interfere in excessive consumption. Clearly distinguish the soybean has been taken by monks to reduce libido.

In addition, many supermarkets, soy products produced little in a way that is processing a batch. Processed food may contain toxic substances such as heavy metals such as aluminum.

However, I am sure that soy is much healthier for you than milk. Cows' milk contains blood, pus, put clogged, animal fats, the terrible blood vessels and growth hormones of calves available.

If you still are concerned about soy, I propose to move to buy rice, milk or even a producer of milk and make your own cereal, nuts and seeds. I've heard that milk is delicious almond milk and hemp is good for you.

You should not rely on imitation meat and cheese in your diet, either. Taste the lentils Bolognese place, or you can try yeast flakes in your lasagna.
